The new KNX RF Multi radio standard enables us to integrate KNX RF into our products in a meaningful way and to realise new product concepts in the first place. The protocol increases reliability through redundancy and feedback. If a channel is faulty or a device fails to report back, Multi ensures smooth communication. Another intelligent development has been implemented in the KNX RF Multi protocol that significantly reduces power consumption and enables battery-operated devices to be parametrised natively in S mode. 

Our world first, the KNX RF Multi radiator thermostat, also makes use of this new option and impresses with a typical battery life of two years or more. KNX Secure also ensures optimal security and downward compatibility is fully guaranteed. Existing products with KNX RF Ready or KNX RF+ such as push-buttons, switches, window contacts etc. can be easily integrated in new buildings, existing buildings and for extensions to existing KNX systems.
