New firmware version 2.0 for the SMART CONNECT KNX e-charge II available!
With the new firmware update of the SMART CONNECT KNX e-charge II, PV and KNX finally move in together! In-house generation and public grid, storage, changing consumption priorities and appliances from a wide variety of manufacturers: our SMART CONNECT KNX e-charge II, awarded first place in the “Best Product” category by “SmartHome Deutschland”, finally makes energy management easy at last.
SOLAR INVERTERS IN THE KNX. SIMPLE.
Because with the SMART CONNECT KNX e-charge II it is now possible to fully integrate the PV system into the KNX. And by complete, we really mean complete: up to five solar inverters plus storage, or four solar inverters plus storage and one hybrid inverter. It goes without saying that our development engineers have also thought about the variety of hardware and have already integrated the various components from leading manufacturers such as Fronius, KOSTAL, SMA and SolarEdge. And rising – the number is growing with every update.
If your PV system generates too much energy, the surplus energy can be used to charge your vehicle, for instance. You simply integrate the SMART CONNECT KNX e-charge II into your smart home and the charging current can be set and the charging process started if there is a surplus.
Other charging points from the manufacturers MENNEKES (4You 300), Walther Werke (smartEVO uno, smartEVO uno +, smartEVO uno connect, smartEVO uno connect +) and the Wallbox Smart Pro from Spelsberg (Wallbox Smart Pro) have also been integrated.
LOAD. SAVE. DISTRIBUTE. MANAGE.
And because versatility is not enough for us, priorities and sequences can also be customised and the best energy strategy, such as surplus or fast charging and load management, can be precisely controlled.
Charging processes and energy flows, consumption and yield values: This data can be utilised effectively throughout the entire installation and can be made available to all devices on the KNX for visualisations.
